Saturday Boredom

Well it's the weekend finally, but that doesn't mean life slows down at least for me. Every Saturday I work in the office at a car dealership in Rome to fill in for the regular secretary on her day off. So this morning I had an early start. Feed the horses at Fairhaven then drive and feed the horses I am watching for someone and now I am sitting at work (with nothing to do, because I am a master at filing haha) . At least the lady I am horse sitting for comes home tonight so this morning was the last morning I had to feed her horses. I am posting some pictures of Flingh and Jimmy, two of the horses. Forgot to take pictures of the other three as I left my phone at the upper barn and didn't want to hike up the mount Everest in her back yard twice :)

Last night I went to the annual chili cook off here in Rome. Kimberly and I rode out after we finished riding and feeding all the horses to support her husband and the rest of the Floyd County Wildlife Club team. (And partake in the great food: whole hog, beans, slaw, and some jerk chicken)  A good time was had by all, until pretty late in the night. Today is the judging, so good luck guys!! I didn't get any pictures last night because the backlight is out on my phone so seeing in the dark is a challenge.  We will be headed back tonight to finish what chili is left:) perhaps if it's still light out when we get there I can take a few photos.

Other happenings at the barn this weekend:

Kimberly shot a new video of Brookelynne yesterday which turned out quite well. Brooke is a 2006 KWPN mare, who is mature well beyond her years and just an all around really cool horse!! Brooke is for sale, so if you want more information give Kimberly a call! I will link the video so you can enjoy!

Today while I sit at work, she is taking a couple of the youngster to a nearby show for some showday experience. Loyal her 2 year old Holsteiner baby and Landzerin the new project are the candidates for a saturday outing. Well see how it goes and I'll update later.

Well I guess that's all for now. Here's my quote for the day.

Life is the sum of all your choices.
- Albert Camus

So choose wisely and may you enjoy the life you choose.

Until next time,

Lindsey
